Gunner (also known as K-9 Gunner) was a decorated and beloved canine member of the PWC Police Department. His tour of duty was tragically cut short in 2005. Distinctions include recognition as best overall dog of the year by the United States Police Canine Association. To learn more, please visit: https://www.odmp.org/k9/1402-k9-gunner.


No! PWC Dogs is a non-profit, citizen led, volunteer organization, that collaborates with community-based volunteers and local organizations to administer the K-9 Gunner Memorial Park.


No. The Dog park depends on donations to run. All donations are welcome - time and financial resources are particularly welcome. PWC Dogs is a 100% community-supported, volunteer run organization. PWC Dogs partners with Prince William County Parks and Recreation to administer the dog park.


Yes. At a minimum, all dogs must be licensed and be up to date on their vaccinations before using the park. See the brochure above for a full listing of rules.
